Brazil offers a variety of dishes that can be incorporated into business settings. When hosting an event, business lunch, or any kind of cooperative gathering, serving and providing Brazilian’s unique flavors can be an enjoyable choice. With that, here are some of my suggestions to incorporate.
- Feijoada: a traditional Brazilian dish made out of black beans, pork, beef, and sausages. Additionally, it can be served with farofa (toasted cassava flour), white rice, orange slices, collard greens, and a variety of other sides. Is a dish that had been brought to Brazil during the colonial period and it’s one of the population’s favorite dishes to serve when gathering with friends and family. Good choice to incorporate the Brazilian’s culture into the event you are hosting.
- Salgados: salgados can be served as appetizers or snacks in case you don’t want to do a whole menu. They are savry pastries and some popular options are coxinha (chicken croquettes), pão de queijo (cheese bread), and empanadas (mini pies). these are quick and delicious snacks to serve in a business setting.
- Caipirinha: in case you want to do a cocktail for something more casual, Caipirinha is Brazil’s national cocktail made out of cachaca, lime, sugar, and ice. If the use of alcohol is not appropriate, or if there are minors present, you can offer the non-alcoholic version using lime, sugar, and soda water.
These are only some of the many options Brazilian Cuisine has to offer for you to include in your Business setting.
