A Look Into Taiwan

Overview: Taiwan

Taiwan is an island country located in East Asia. It is officially known as the Republic of China (ROC) and its capital city is Taipei. Taiwan has a population of around 23 million people and its official languages are Mandarin Chinese and Taiwanese Hokkien. The country has a mix of traditional Chinese culture and modern influences, and is known for its technology industry and delicious cuisine. Taiwan is also known for its beautiful landscapes, such as the Taroko Gorge and the Yushan Mountains.

Taipei 101 is a skyscraper located in Taipei, Taiwan. It was the tallest building in the world from 2004 to 2010, and it remains the tallest in Taiwan. The building is 101 stories tall and reaches a height of 1,667 feet (508 meters). It was designed with traditional Chinese architectural elements, such as a pagoda shape, and incorporates advanced engineering techniques to withstand earthquakes and typhoons. Taipei 101 is a landmark of the city, and its observation deck offers a panoramic view of Taipei. The building also contains offices, restaurants, and a shopping mall.
